The SOS Children’s Village of Mahrès is presently accommodating 60
children in 10 family houses. 10 SOS mothers and 5 aunts take care of
those children.
The Village is 345 km from Tunis, in the South. Built in 1999, the first children were taken care of since March 2000.
The official inauguration of the SOS Children’s Village of Mahres is planned for October 31st 2001.
