In 1988, the Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Village was affiliated to the SOS-KDI as an active member.

On January 11th 1998, the efforts displayed by the Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Village to the benefit of unsheltered children were rewarded by the attribution of the President of the Republic Prize of the Child’s Rights.

Since July 2000, the Tunisian Association of SOS Children’s Village has the Special Consultative Status within the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
